Final Reflection
This final reflection for the course provides you an opportunity to demonstrate your growth and development as a reader and as a writer who has reflected deeply on your customary reading practices and roles, and sought to develop and expand your repertoire of reading roles and practices in such a way that impacts who you are as a writer.
Essential to include are two elements:
DetailsThe reflective statement should be at least 1000 words, and deal explicitly with the reading methods used in the course, with specific textual examples from your efforts as the lead writer, as well as your efforts supporting other lead writers, across the semester.
Essential to this activity is revisiting the various readings, and even demonstrating where your prior efforts fell short and how you have carried out your revision of the selected reading in light of your current point of view concerning the method, which will likely be distinct from the point of view from which you composed the reading. Please attend to the experience of the course, including how it was structured to have you work and learn collaboratively.
Also include a Works Cited. You may copy and paste the citation information from this webpage.
AssessmentThis reflection will be assessed in terms of having done complete work (following the instructions), which includes your providing evidence for any reflections you articulate in this document.

The "slanted" option you might take in writing this reflection is to take up a piece of your own writing and read it with the methods learned in this course; or it might be you writing something using the methods. This option still requires you to deal with the methodological texts and class discussions. You can only take this option in consultation with me. |
